For patients with EPI,
Only ZENPEP® lets you start most adults on a single capsule1,2

- The dose of ZENPEP should be individualized based on weight, severity of clinical symptoms, the degree of steatorrhea present, and the fat contents of the patient’s diet1
- For patients on the lower end of the weight range, a lower dose may be appropriate
- This chart is intended to be an example; ZENPEP capsules represent nearest capsule count within recommended dosing range
- Do not exceed 2,500 lipase units/kg/meal, 10,000 lipase units/kg/day, or 4,000 lipase units/g fat ingested/day in adult and pediatric patients greater than 12 months of age without further investigation.1

*For severe EPI with steatorrhea, write 2 capsules PO with each meal. Dispense 300.
ZENPEP capsules and capsule contents should not be crushed or chewed.
ZENPEP should be taken with every meal and snack. Usually, half of the prescribed dose for an individualized full meal should be given with each snack.1
Therapy should be initiated at the lowest recommended dosage and individualize the dosage based on clinical symptoms, the degree of steatorrhea present, and the fat content of the diet.
Meets the ACG guideline for EPI and CP in a single capsule.†
For patients with EPI and CP, the ACG-recommended adequate dosage of PERT is at least 40,000 to 50,000 lipase units per meal.3
